Wanterd Women Who Ive On Boats

In Book of Memories

Dear Colleagues, Internet, I am about to make a contribution on the Book of tears Pere Ginard publisher Anaya, Madrid, 2002. This album (says on the back of it) belongs to soup books.

The author is a young Spaniard for 35 years but with a dense academic training: Bachelor of Fine Arts, writer and filmmaker dedicated to literary creation which are public, especially children. His work has been recognized with two awards.

Book of tears is almost an elegy to the drop of salt out of our eyes to a situation that is overflowing and we can not control. Who has ever wept?, Who does not the felt run down their cheeks?. It seems that the teardrop is insignificant, but this author does not go unnoticed.

The way we started this album is simple and full of sensitivity:

There are many types of tears.

(...) Tears sting like lemon juice or soft

, like candy.

But all are salty, as if we had a small sea within. Look at the

synesthesia and similes in just 3 lines.

Then our author explains with a sentence that is located to the left of the illustration (his drawings are of their own harvest, as he says: "When everyone is asleep I am artist") that occupies much of the page, the time in which the child can break to mourn: "When someone says goodbye, lost in the streets, afraid was scared because someone sneezes, the rays take over their small pupils, either afraid of monsters, wind noise ... "

The album can be read only looking for pictures and would know what it is.

drawings, phrases, invite reflection of the child (best if read with the help of the teacher, father, mother ...) Who is going to feel very identified with the facts encourage you to mourn, as children cry a lot. This album could be understood by any child of 5, 6. Once the reading we could ask: Do you cry in this situation? How do you feel when you weeping? Better?, Worst?, Are you afraid of monsters?, Are you sleeping well?, Are you afraid to brew your room? ... Anyway ... So many questions that, through reading, give play to meet that "adult" in power, that is the child.
