Idhún Tears, Laura Gallego invites us to dream

Antonio Soriano .- During my internship in high school I met again with Laura Gallego through his book Empress of the ethereal . It was the reading of which had to be considered for the second evaluation. I say that I met again with the author because a few years ago, moved by curiosity with which my little cousin ate Idhún Memories (Ed. SM), one of his successes, I decided to experiment and explore what was working in the Miracle entertain a 12 year old girl with a book. When I got the book, subtitled resistance and finished reading it, I knew it was the first of a trilogy (Triad and Pantheon). Maybe if I had known before, and I had read the first or the third (there are three large volumes). However I got stuck in the story of Jack, Victoria and Kirtash. It is in this trilogy I am going to talk.
This is not the place and how to tell the plot of this story, even more so through this medium you can find thousands of them. But it does consider it necessary to share with you my experience with these books, and reflection that after the filter on LIJ learned, may come to perform.
The first thing you may come to mind when talking of such a phenomenon is compared with other sagas. Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings are the first to cum to mind. Are many and few points of comparison between this trilogy and other world famous, but has failed to have the same success. What is that? What literary quality? I think not. There is a literary show, but what is? Have you had enough spread? Although the effort of SM has been great, the attitude of its author is still key.
tricking readers, for that matter. The story has been done in order to achieve success? Many elements make us think so. Young actors, a love story, a new world, the use of fantasy magic, impossible love, adventure, action, battles for love, heroes, alternating with the imaginary real world, the first sex ... This is like the television series, which have successfully contained the same elements. But quality is not always successful, and vice versa.
find literary references, of course, but success is already invented. But through the author's accuracy in the use of the description is pleasantly easy to imagine the story, putting faces to the characters and color to the stage, something that makes you an indirect participant in history. As occurs with the didactic tone of the narrator, encourages you to feel every time what the characters feel as they feel the author's. This last point invites me to reject the idea that this book is written only to succeed, but will it joins the junction between the author, history and the reader.
Ultimately, if we want our students to read, this trilogy fulfills all the requirements to do so. It is clearly not going to be a reference reading, and perhaps not within the canon used in the classroom, but will allow us to develop creativity and imagination of the student, reflecting on the origin of the world, religion, love, sex, respect, respect for the environment ... may just be reading 'out of class.
