Variables:
To think the key city of sports facilities should be considered in addition to the city and its surroundings , the characteristics of the sports system: a. its active elements, practitioners and institutions, systems of organization, services, activities or management, and structural elements: equipment, all therefore influenced by external factors such as culture, economic, political, environmental, urban, among others.
The conceptual approach of "Sport" is done from a perspective that is a social product constructed and defined by what society as a whole understood as "Sport."

Issues in terms of sports infrastructure:

• Under construction standard average. • Prevalence of scenarios
mono-sporting, low-quality, aged and low maintenance. • Low technological renovation

• Weak and dispersed regulation legal order the construction of sports facilities
• Inability to hold "dignity" international tournaments in many sports.
• Lack of incentives for the construction of sports facilities for specific populations (elderly, disabled, children).


In short:

dysfunction is not quantitative (MVD has about 1,500 institutions that provide services to sport) but qualitative.

Most sports venues types respond to very basic and very low construction standards.



But they have to add:

• Few specific requirements at the municipality for construction and equipping (swimming pools, gymnasiums, stadiums, spa).

• lack of technical specifications or guidelines for the construction of sports facilities.

• Changes in socio-demographic, highlighting the internal migration, aging and / or infantilization of the population, and forms of social exclusion.

Proposal-Ideas-Contributions for future work:

- The starting point for a PDID should be: to rethink and broaden the traditional vision of the world reduced the traditional sport and incorporate the theme of space and sports facilities to the city project.

work 3 strategies:

Line 1: Analysis current sports team and its impact on the urban fabric, and future projection.

Line 3: Centennial Avenue Project on the large sports equipment that projects to RA for MVD.
